Be a Good One.

I don't know why Monday's keep approaching so quickly. Tomorrow starts the month of April, and I can't seem to grasp that. The days are moving too fast, and things that I want to do, or people I want to see, don't seem to happen. I've learned that when life is your absolute hardest and sometimes you don't think you can take it any more, you get thrown even more curve balls. My 40+ hr work weeks are seeming like 70, and I feel like I have no time to do anything. I made a full list of things I needed to do for my house this weekend, and when it came down to it, I wanted to craft, and make myself happy. And, isn't that what life is about? Being happy? I think so.

As a family, we have learned that it doesn't matter how much we make, if we have cereal for dinner, what other couples and families get to do, or if I'm late to work because I take Tanner to school. Because to be honest, I'd rather spend 5 extra minutes with my best friend, then 5 minutes in my quiet office. That would make me happy, and I need to work more on making me happy. I've started to realize that friends come and go, and your relationships with others change. That's all about growing up, but change is hard. Man, it is so hard! Tanner and I always laugh after we are having a hard time, or become frustrated about something, because at the end of the day, we know we have each other, and that's all that matters. I guess I've just really started to realize what is truly important in life.

Yesterday, we decided to write a new quote on the chalkboard, and we both agreed on the one below: "Whatever you are, be a GOOD one." I love that. It doesn't matter who you are, as long as you're doing good, and making yourself happy. That's what life is about, and there's no greater reminder than having it posted in your house!

My rad sister sells her prints and stuff. Whatever you are be a good one - art print

There's nothing better to make you happy, than spending a full week with family. We are lucky to have families that live so close, and are happy to make the trip to visit us. I can't wait to watch the LDS General Conference this weekend with the ones I love, and listen to our prophets voice! I invite all to watch it with me, because it will make you happy. Every session I watch, I am amazed that there is something spoken that is meant for me, and is an answer to my prayers.
