The worst

You wanna know what I hate? Falling asleep, say on the couch, and having to get back up and brush my teeth and wash my face. It's seriously the worst. Most of the time I tell myself that it will be just a couple hours until morning, so I can brush my teeth then. Or, your face will be fine for just one night. But, I. Can't. Do. It. I have to do my nightly routine, without fail. It just sucks. And, it's been happening quite often lately, since Tan is up all night doing homework. I feel  like it's nicer to sit next to him on the couch (whether I'm asleep or not) then enjoying my sleep in our big comfy bed. I guess I'm just a nice person... ;)

happy fall yall

My parents are finishing their drive this morning to UTAH! I can't wait to see them. Party on.

R I V A L S

Saturday was the BYU, Utah game. At Axiom, majority of the people are Utes fans, so I did a Potluck at the Corporate office, and everyone had to dress up. It was a good time!

Liked this sign...

Just me and my love!

Tonight, we made s'mores on the grill.

Good Sunday!

Now, I have to get things done for another golf tournmanent in Park City! We had to delay it an hour for the frost...so that's cool that i'll be freezing my buns off!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like....

Fall is just around the corner, and the weather feels amazing. It's still hot somedays, but in the mornings and at night, it just has such a lovely crisp air! And the on and off rain....starting to get semi annoying. Speaking of rain... On Saturday we hiked Stuart Falls in Provo with Brim & Scott, and Morg & Mckay. It was a blast! It poured the whole way there, and just made it so fun! Luckily when we got to the falls, we were able to enjoy our lunches, and the sun!

Step back a couple days, and Friday morning, I was able to go to work late, and meet the Sandstrom's at good ole Kneader's. It was soooo good to finally see my Walker! We have been best friends since babies, and to our dads disbelief, didn't end up getting married. Our dad's even stepped me aside a couple days before the wedding and said are you sureeeee? jokingly, of course. My dad and Tanner couldn't get a long better-so no offense sweetie! :) They were on their way to Rexburg, and stopped in Provo, and I was so happy to see him!

We were able to go to the Riverwoods "Chalk the Block" this weekend, where they have artists draw amazing things with chalk, and they had vendors all over with free samples, and really cool handmade items! We stopped at Happy Sumo with the fam, and then at Provo Beach Resort, for a nice Blue Bell ice cream cone!! I would say it was a good weekend!

And, to top it off, I was so dead tired last night, and after a nice, relaxing run followed by Yoga, I was ready to shut my eyes! Then Tanner pulled me close to lay on his shoulder. I know that is NOT comfortable, but it meant the world to be held close. Marriage is fantastic, and I recommend it to everyone.

A little bit of Everything.

Last week was really a crazy thing for me. There was a realtor convention held in Park City, at the Montage, and we were co-sponsors with Coldwell Banker. This meant, we were basically in charge of everything. The Convention started the Tuesday after Labor Day, and I had to be at the golf course in Park City at 7. Wowza is right. But at least I got to enjoy this beautiful sunrise on my way!

I also picked my SaltWaters to wear on that early morning, and it was freezing, along with fresh cut/wet grass. At least I had a jacket! When we sponsor holes at golf tournaments, we always have a Lemonade Stand, with cookies and Lemonade, and everyone loves it! I then was able to go home that night.

Wednesday was the Party Night, so I got to sleep in, and prepare for the long day ahead. I drove back up at 3, and we set up for the night, changed, and went back to the all night party. It was supposed to end at 11, but when you add some drunk realtors, and a DJ, we weren't able to finish cleaning up until midnight, which meant we weren't back into the rooms after loading and unloading until after 1! Luckily I was able to stay in a room, and I mean... I haven't been in a prettier room! The beds felt like marshmallows, and I wish I would've taken a picture of the bathroom! I told Tanner we will have to go back sometime...in 20 years!

The lobby isn't super extravagant, and so you wouldn't know the rooms were so nice. I mean don't get me wrong, in Park City, it's all nice, but anyways... I really liked some of the features around the lobby, and I'm using this as the inspiration for the Christmas Party!

We were super official and had ice sculptures.

A few people laughed when I asked for a Shirley Temple, but I stayed strong! :)

Friday morning was an early one, and we had to set up for our booth. We had the game show/trivia "Are You Smarter than a Loan Officer", handed out "smart wallets" that stick to the back of your phone for business cards, Smarties, and of course, some really smart glasses! Those were the true hit! And luckily, I snatched some tortoise ones so I didn't have to wear hot pink or lime green! :)
After it was finally done at 3, we went and sat on the balcony, put our feet up, and enjoyed the view for a couple minutes. Then, it was off to home to see my bud!

Friday night we had Scott and Brim over for dinner, and then we headed to the Rooftop Concert! Those are always a blast, and did I mention FREE!?

Last night I whipped together some chicken salad mixed with an avocado and just a teeny tiny bit of mayo. Celery, Mandarin Oranges, Grapes, and Cashews made it for a party in my mouth. And then, we wrapped them up with some lettuce!

It was a good week, but I'm glad to say it's over. Now if I can just get reimbursed for my gas mileage...

F I O R E

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but food trucks in Provo right now seem to be all the rage. There's waffle trucks, BBQ trucks, Pizza trucks, and I'm sure there are plenty more I don't know about! I've talked about this particular place before, but really, you need to try it. Fiore Pizza. They're like Waffle Luv, where they post their location on Instagram. So, Follow them @fiorepizza.

This past week was super crazy for me at work, and one night I sent the picture of their post to Tan, and it happened to be the famous duck pond at BYU. So, we met for dinner, because I didn't want to cook, and it was just really convenient. Last time, we got the New Yorker (?)Something to do with New York.. and it had pepperoni, and sausage, and maybe spinach? It was divine. Then, we had their special that was a pork something. I'm not giving a very good review if I can't even remember! But, the special last week was sweet corn & bacon. uh huh... MMMM. Then, we also got a Margherita, that did not dissapoint. The point of this post is to GO TRACK THEM DOWN. Really good. It's wood Fired pizza, and Tanner describes it as "chewy" crust. Which I get what he means, because it is, but I don't know if it sounds appealing? But IT IS.

Last weekend was Labor Day weekend which is always nice. On Saturday we drove up to Midway with Morg and Mckay, walked around Swiss Days, had delicious Scones, went to Brittany and Brady's house (Shelley's sister), watched the BYU game, went to Dairy Keen for dinner, and stayed out late playing board games. Tanner and I could've passed out at 10:30, but we stayed strong! It was such a fun night!

Monday we went to the Traverse Mountain Outlets with Madeline and Andrew and had a gay ole time! We actually ran into Brim & Scott! They were looking for ENGAGEMENT outfits! :) I just love it. We then went to the Riverwood's, and had some yummy sliders at Marley's! Ok.. I promise I cook, and we don't always eat out. It was a holiday weekend!!

Emily Clifford is in Jerusalem right now, and before she left, we got together at JCW's to say our farewell's.

(let's not talk about my 5-day-J-LO-bun hair)

The next morning was Tan's first day of school! I had to be in Park city by 7 for a golf tournament, so I felt so bad not packing a yummy lunch, a gourmet breakfast, etc. I think he survived though!
That would be Dr. Zylstra, to you.

Birthday Boy

Tanner's Birthday was last Tuesday, the 27th. On Monday night, we went to The Quarry, a rock climbing place in Provo, with our friends Riley and Jacqueline. Tan and Riley lived together while we were dating, and then they started dating when we were engaged. It's been fun to be able to hang out with them!

We went on a little fun date for Tanner's birthday, and I think we had too much fun! It's like a cool hang out for rock climbers I guess. They're straight up hard core. Upstairs, you don't use a harness and just climb, and it's way too funny!

this picture has nothing to do with his birthday, it was after I colored my hair darker, but I like it.

We love kissing pictures, jk.

Booty Tap.

i have monkey like features.

or apes

Tuesday morning, I made breakfast in bed, and went to work 30 minutes late. It's nice when you have overtime to catch up on! Then I came home from work a couple hours early, and I thought Tanner would be home, so I waited, ringing the doorbell with balloons. He called me when I was in the house, and I talked real quiet, and said I was in the bathroom at work. Well my trick worked, because he said he was at the mailbox, and could tell he knew nothing about my plan. So, I was running around the house/tip toeing, and was trying not to breathe too loudly, and jumped out of the closet! It was a classic trick. I loved that it actually worked.

Then, we went to Outback with the fam, and Scott and Brim came over with ice cream! So glad they're back in Provo with us! And, that they're ENGAGED! It's the happiest thing that could ever happen. Best Friends and Best Friends? One word, Awesome. So happy for them.

I love that Tanner of mine. Cheers to 23!
