Late Night Snack

Yesterday, as I was browsing through Pinterest, I saw this Reese's Krispies Popcorn from Oh, Sweet Basil. I immediately knew it was going to have to be something my SIL Madison and I make (because let's be honest... i've become even more obsessed with Reese's since I've joined the Z family...that, and ranch..anyways).. So, of course we made it last night. It was super easy, super yummy, and super addicting! I popped white popcorn kernels in my whirly pop with just a tad of coconut oil, so it was actually pretty healthy!... ya. right.

I didn't really measure the kernels though, so we ended up with 3 ziploc gallon bags full of this crack. So holler-atchergirl if you wanna come pick up some of this goodness!

I can't wait to make this for when i have an actual crowd, and when I don't feel the need to eat this all.by.myself.

Life As of Recent

Wow, life was a crazy one this week! I had a long week at work, and started getting sick on Tuesday, Wednesday felt it bad, Thursday felt it worse, Friday started recovering, but luckily I took the day off. Tanner's super crazy with school right now (but really, when is he not) and I seriously saw him for only a couple hours Tuesday-Thursday, I'll get in to the details in a bit, but for right now, let's play some catch up!

A couple of weeks ago we turned in my ole Kia for a Camry, and we've been happy with our choice! I do a long commute every day, and between the gas mileage and the  fixer uppers we had to do monthly, it wasn't worth it anymore! Sadly though, because of my commute, there's been some quick mileage put on our new baby, but we love it!

That car was my very first car, and I've had lots of great memories in that thing...

Don't worry, I have two feet.

Last week Axiom hosted our summer party at the State Fair! It was easy for me because I didn't have to set up for dinner or anything, I just handed out the tickets beforehand. It was so low stress, and I loved that. My kind of party.

My parents came into town last weekend, and it's always a treat! My sweet mom treated me to a pedicure, and seriously, I forgot how relaxing they can be! (married life) I was in heaven.

My mama also got us some fake flowers for our flower beds, and it seriously just spruced the place right up!

that coloring is so bad from my father's phone...but I like this pic.

We took them to Provo Beach Resort for some ice cream during the Chalk the Block festival, and we ran into little Minnie (Sophie)!

She begged me to do the same thing, but I just stuck with having her trace my foot...

On Sunday we rode the scooter to church, and that's always a good time in a skirt...!
I changed into a midi skirt, so there wasn't anything hangin out, no worries.

I had fun with some braids that day!

(shameless selfie)

Monday night we were waiting for Shelley to get to her house, so we stopped at the Provo Library.

I seriously have crazy eyes. And yes, same hairstyle.. it's just what you do when you wake up 5 minutes before you have to leave for work.

Our Marketing Team at work, along with one in CA, is now in charge of doing the marketing for our 8 sister companies. Since we are in two different states, we had them come down this week. I was in charge of planning our "retreat" and had lots of fun with it. The first night we ate at Brio at City Creek, and then we spent the next day in Park City up at Park City Mountain Resort. We rode the Alpine Slides and did the zip line, and then finished the night with some wood fired pizza and gelato on Main Street. Utah is absolutely beautiful in the Fall, and I'm so happy they got to enjoy the pretty colors! Although, it was abnormally hot that day, but I'm not complainin, because it's better than my cubicle!

I didn't get home until 10:30 each night, and on Wednesday I had to be up at the resort, which is an hour away, at 7:30! No wonder I was so tuckered out!

Love this temple at night!

I just want to carve my name in every birch tree I see.

Mmmmm.

This week shouldn't be too crazy, besides getting a bunch of stuff done. I can't believe we are almost done with September, I have a Christmas Party to plan! Insert nervous-face-emoji.. you all know which one I'm talking about!
Tanner goes to his first interview this weekend, and I just found out that my other sister is going into town as well, so basically it will be a party without me. Knife to the heart.

Also, I cut bangs... I'm enjoying them, I just still don't recognize myself when I look in the mirror, and especially in pictures. Change is fun!

Bear Lake: Video

We went to Bear Lake last weekend, and we are already missing the fun! We made many s'mores for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we played in the freezing lake, and shared lots of memories! We had so much fun with our friends, and it will be a memory we cherish forever!

Here's a video I made of our trip!

Happy Friday!

Here's a funny video to share with everyone. I wish I would have thought of this myself, because T-Swift invited all of these boys, plus a date, to one of her shows this year! JEAL.

Giveaway Winner

Thank you for all of the participation with the giveaway this last week. Kenzie is going to do a great job with your pictures!

The winner is.... Grace Sitton!!

Email me within 24 hours, and we will get you all set up!

Also, I can't believe it's been 13 years since the 9/11 attack. At this time, I'm squeezing my loved ones a little tighter, and remembering that we never know what can go on in this (sometimes) wicked world. I'm thankful for the many that have served our country in more ways than one, and my hearts go out to those families, still suffering from 13 years ago.

Always remember to tell those you love, that you love them. Life is too short!

Bear Lake Part 1

We spent this last weekend in Bear Lake with three other couples, and had such a blast. We were "glamping" since we slept in the cutest log cabin, and having s'mores for breakfast aint too bad. It was a great "summer send off" and now we had to come back to the real world. It was fun to finally see the Bear lake that everyone raves about. And although the water was absolutely freezing, we still had such a fun time! Video coming soon, of course.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway with Kenzie Gossling Photography for a FREE 1 hr. photo session! I had closed this to Utah only peeps, but decided that I know of people coming up to Utah, so I should be fair and let them have a chance as well! So, if you're coming up to Utah in the next little bit, feel free to enter, you have until Wednesday night!!

Giveaway Time

It's time for another Giveaway!

My girl Kenzie Gossling is an amazing photographer. We grew up together, and every time we get together we remember some stupid thing we did in elementary school. She's such a sweet girl, and she sure knows how to photograph!

When Kenz suggested she take pictures in front of our house, I couldn't say no! She totally captured some great memories for us of our first home, and living in Utah. She's amazing, let me just say that again! She's great at making the process relaxed, and totally not awkward. She's great at complimenting everyone in the photo, and telling you how great you look. And, who doesn't like hearing that? I would highly recommend her to everyone for their next engagement, wedding, portraits, you name it, she's your girl!!

Here are some of my favorites from our little shoot.

She is giving away a 1 hr. session to anyone in UTAH, valued at $200! This is so good. You know she's great, and you know you want some pictures when those fall leaves start changing, or in the snow, or because you like Utah! So, enter the rafflecopter below, and cross those fingers, and pinkies for extra luck.
Remember, only enter if you're currently living in Utah!
Winner will be announced in ONE WEEK!
Good luck!

Life As of Late

On Tanner's birthday last Wednesday, we had our friends over for some cake, ice cream, and s'mores in the backyard. We had a lot of people show up, and we felt so loved, and surrounded by so many wonderful people!

Our Labor Day weekend was seriously the best. We started Saturday morning with some tennis matches, then Provo started getting pretty chilly, and started raining. We then went up to Midway with the McGrath's for Swiss days, and we dressed for chilly weather. But, it was so hot! Later, we rode the Alpine Slide at Park City Mountain Resort, and we were glad we dressed warmer! We then finished off the night eating on Main Street at Pizza & Noodles.
Sunday was a relaxing day, with a yummy dinner with family, and then a movie outside in the Bench's backyard.
Monday we went to the Provo rope swing, and then visited the Latin Festival on our scooters, and started a "bike gang".
It was a nice weekend to end the summer!
Now, for the pictures.

We had mixed feelings about the beautiful fall leaves appearing already.

We seriously lucked out with this whole situation ^^

selfies are cool.

I made a quick video from our Rope Swing adventure on Labor Day!

I love driving down Center Street to watch the Provo temple keep improving!

Bye summer.
